You will need approximately 3.5 cubic feet of freezer space to store a Quarter Beef Share.
Hang Weight: weight of the carcass of the animal after removal of hooves, head, hide, and internals. Typically around 60% of Live Weight. This is what your price is based on.

Take-Home Weight: weight of the edible product you receive. Varies based on cut selection (i.e. bone-in steaks weigh more than equally cut bone-out steaks). Typically around 60% of Hang Weight, or 35%-40% of Live Weight.
